Phonics is a method of language teaching in which letters are thought through their sounds. This method of teaching is used for word building and enhancing reading skills.
‘Pheasant English Phonics’ has been designed exclusively on the teaching method of Phonetics. In this method, children learn sounds of vowels and consonants and their blending, which enable them, to make words quickly and effectively.
‘Pheasant English Phonics series consists of three books; Primer, Foundation-1 and Foundation-2. ‘Phonics Primer’ focuses on beginning sounds of letters, while Foundation-1,on sounds of consonants and primary vowels, as well as basic word building. Pheasant Phonics Foundation-2 concentrates on complex word building, digraphs and secondary vowels.
